Agustin is a lawyer graduated from Universidad Austral, and his practice focuses on corporate, financial, banking and capital markets law.

Within his area of specialization, he has advised on transactions such as restructurings, foreign investments, capital market transactions (national and international), mergers and acquisitions, derivatives, asset securitization, trusts and exchange control. He has also been involved in various litigations and arbitrations related to commercial and financial disputes.

Before founding Cerolini & Ferrari Abogados, he worked at White & Case LLP (USA) during 2007 and 2008, and at Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi between 2004 and 2013. Also, during 2010 and 2011 he did a secondment at Banco Itaú Argentina S.A. (Itau BBA).

Agustin obtained a Master in Laws (LL.M) from Louisiana State University (Paul M Herbert Law Center – USA, 2007) and a Master in Corporate Finance from Universidad del CEMA (Buenos Aires, 2011), in which his thesis «Financiamiento Pyme: Emitir Deuda o Equity» obtained a distinguished grade. He is also a Certified Compliance Officer by the Argentine Association of Ethics and Compliance and Universidad del CEMA (Buenos Aires, 2018), and holds a certificate in Executive Legal Education oriented to Law and Start Up granted by Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Buenos Aires, 2022).

He is a postgraduate professor at different universities and is the author of numerous articles on topics related to his specialty.

He speaks and writes fluently in English and has knowledge of Portuguese.

Agustin is a member of the Colegio Público de Abogados de la Capital Federal and the Comité de Abogados de Bancos de la República Argentina. He is also president of the LSU Alumni Club of Argentina and actively participates in associations such as AmCham, IDEA and the Chamber of Corporations.
